Join Our Team as a Lawn Care/Landscape Care Crew Member!
The Lawn Care/Landscape Care Crew Member is responsible for providing high-quality lawn and landscape services to clients. This role involves ensuring the efficient execution of tasks, maintaining equipment, and delivering exceptional client service.
Some of the key responsibilities of a Lawn Care/Landscape Care Crew Member include:
Operations:
Perform various tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, fertilizing, seeding, and weed control, installing plants, moving soil, installing rock.
Ensure that tasks are completed according to quality and safety standards.
Operate and maintain various lawn care equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers, skid steers. Lay sod or seed; grading (soil); and tree staking
Move and transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and manual lifting.
Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments, shop + equipment.
Safety and Compliance:
Uphold safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
Ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is used consistently.
Ability to follow safe working procedures.
Comply with all company policies and regulations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and hours worked.
Training and Development:
Open to continuous learning and skill development.
Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and serviced regularly.
Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate department.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of lawn care/landscape care techniques, equipment operation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Basic understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
Job requires ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift.
Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
Punctuality and attendance a must
